Vijaykumar Nivrutti Kamble will continue as Executive Director at UCO Bank until March 31, 2027, extending his tenure in the senior leadership role at the public sector lender. UCO Bank’s current leadership information lists Kamble as Executive Director-II.

Kamble took charge as Executive Director at UCO Bank in October 2023, after a long career with Bank of Maharashtra. His banking career spans more than three decades, beginning in 1990 when he joined Bank of Maharashtra as an Agriculture Field Officer.

Over the years, Kamble has worked across several areas of banking, including branch banking, credit, human resources, agriculture credit, business development and financial inclusion. Before moving to UCO Bank, he served as General Manager at Bank of Maharashtra, including responsibilities related to the Mumbai Zone.

His experience also includes work across administrative and operational functions, giving him exposure to different aspects of public sector banking. He has served on the boards of institutions including Maharashtra Gramin Bank and PSB Alliance.

Kamble holds a Master’s degree in Economics and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). His professional development has also included leadership and management programmes at institutions including IIM Bangalore, NIBM and other banking and management institutes.

The continuation of his tenure provides UCO Bank with leadership continuity at the executive level through March 2027. Kamble will continue in the role as the bank progresses through its ongoing business and organisational priorities.

His career reflects a steady progression through various levels of the banking system, from an agriculture-focused field role to senior executive leadership at a public sector bank.
