Steamhouse India Reports 46% Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27, PAT Surges 80%

Surat-based Steamhouse India Limited has reported strong financial and operational performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), recording 46.07% year-on-year growth in revenue from steam to ₹123.37 crore. EBITDA rose 60.08% to ₹30.93 crore, while Profit After Tax (PAT) increased 80.25% to ₹18.34 crore.

The results mark the company’s first financial results announcement following its listing on the BSE and NSE.

Steam Volumes Rise 16.7%

Steamhouse India, which generates and distributes industrial steam through community boilers and pipeline networks, sold 3,05,816 tonnes of steam during Q1 FY27, up 16.70% from 2,62,055 tonnes in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The company also reported a significant improvement in operating efficiency. EBITDA per tonne increased to ₹1,011.45, compared with ₹737.35 in Q1 FY26, representing a 37.17% year-on-year improvement.

The growth indicates higher profitability alongside an increase in steam volumes during the quarter.

Strong Sequential Performance

Steamhouse India also recorded growth across key financial and operational parameters compared with Q4 FY26.

Revenue from steam increased 33.29%, while EBITDA grew 17.11% and PAT rose 30.12% sequentially. Steam volumes increased 11.52%, while EBITDA per tonne improved by 5.02%.

The company said the quarter reflects growth in revenue, profitability and steam volumes, alongside an improvement in EBITDA generated per tonne of steam sold.

₹311 Crore Una Project

Steamhouse India is also strengthening its expansion pipeline with a ₹311 crore EPC mandate for the development of a 300 TPH steam project at Bulk Drug Park, Una.

The project marks the company’s expansion beyond Gujarat and is aimed at bringing its community steam-generation and distribution capabilities to another industrial cluster.

The Una project is expected to serve industrial customers in the Bulk Drug Park through dedicated steam-generation and distribution infrastructure.

Four Projects Under Construction

Alongside the Una mandate, Steamhouse India currently has four projects under construction, which are expected to commence operations in the second half of the financial year, subject to completion, commissioning and applicable approvals.

The projects are expected to contribute to incremental revenue growth and further strengthen PAT margins once operational.

Together with its existing operating footprint and the Una project, the projects under construction are expected to support the company’s strategy of expanding across industrial clusters and broadening its customer base.

Focus on Steam and Nitrogen Operations

Commenting on the results, Vishal S. Budhia, Chairman and Managing Director, Steamhouse India Limited, said the company’s first results as a listed entity mark an important new phase in its journey.

He highlighted the growth in revenue, EBITDA and PAT, supported by higher steam volumes and improved EBITDA per tonne. Budhia also said the company has improved the quality of its earnings by eliminating coal sales and focusing its capital allocation on the steam business.

According to the company, its next phase of growth will focus on project execution, expansion across industrial clusters and scaling its steam and nitrogen operations.

Building a Larger Industrial Infrastructure Platform

Steamhouse India’s Q1 FY27 performance comes as the company transitions into its next phase as a listed entity. Strong year-on-year growth in revenue and profitability, combined with rising steam volumes and a growing project pipeline, provides the company with a platform to expand its industrial steam infrastructure.

With the ₹311 crore Una mandate and four projects under construction, Steamhouse India is looking to broaden its presence beyond its existing Gujarat footprint and build a larger community-based steam generation and distribution network for industrial customers.
