MoneyTruVa Secures Seed Funding from Sunil Singhania, Raj Shamani and Other Industry Leaders to Build Financial Information Platform

Mumbai-based MoneyTruVa is developing a structured financial information platform to help Indian investors navigate fragmented market data and make better-informed decisions.

Mumbai, Maharashtra: MoneyTruVa, a financial technology startup focused on organising financial information for Indian investors, has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round. The company’s shareholder base includes prominent figures from India’s financial ecosystem, including investor Sunil Singhania, who led the investment in his personal capacity, and entrepreneur and content creator Raj Shamani.

The startup aims to address the challenge of fragmented financial information by bringing together data and insights from exchange filings, media outlets and social platforms in a structured format. By adding context to information spread across multiple sources, MoneyTruVa seeks to help investors discover relevant developments, understand financial information and make better-informed decisions.

The platform is scheduled to be unveiled at an invite-only event in Mumbai on October 22, 2026, with public pre-registration also planned.

Addressing the Need for Structured Financial Information

India’s investor base has crossed 13 crore unique accounts, supported by market infrastructure, exchanges, intermediaries and regulatory developments. As participation in the country’s financial markets expands, access to reliable, relevant and understandable financial information is becoming increasingly important.

Financial information is often dispersed across regulatory filings, news reports, market commentary and social media discussions. Investors may need to navigate multiple platforms and formats to understand a company’s developments or assess information relevant to their investment decisions.

MoneyTruVa is building a platform intended to simplify this process by consolidating financial information and presenting it in a structured, accessible and context-driven format. The company aims to make financial knowledge more useful to investors across different levels of market experience, investment sizes and geographical locations.

Its broader vision is to democratise access to financial information and contribute to deeper participation in India’s financial markets.

Backed by Leaders from Finance and Business

MoneyTruVa’s shareholder base brings together investors, financial services executives, market experts, entrepreneurs and business educators who share the company’s vision of making financial information more accessible.

Alongside Sunil Singhania, the financial ecosystem participants named by the company include:

The participation of these individuals brings together perspectives from financial markets, investment research, business education and financial media.

Founder Brings Financial Market Technology Experience

MoneyTruVa was founded by Jigish Sonagara, who has led technology initiatives for financial market institutions, including MCX, IEX and MSE. His experience spans the conceptualisation of technology platforms across exchange systems, risk management, surveillance, market infrastructure and MSME finance.

The company also has Sameer Vasani on its board. A TOGAF-certified enterprise architect, Vasani brings experience in enterprise technology architecture, trading systems and large-scale digital infrastructure.

The founding team’s exposure to financial market technology and infrastructure forms part of MoneyTruVa’s effort to develop a platform that organises complex financial information into a more accessible experience for investors.

Making Financial Knowledge More Accessible

Commenting on the funding and the company’s vision, Jigish Sonagara, Founder and CEO of MoneyTruVa, expressed gratitude for the support of individuals from India’s financial and business ecosystem.

He said the company’s objective is to democratise access to financial information and knowledge, making it more useful and accessible regardless of an investor’s experience, location, investment size or familiarity with financial markets.

Sonagara added that better access to relevant information could help deepen participation in India’s financial markets and contribute to greater financial inclusion.

Preparing for Platform Launch

With its seed funding and industry-backed shareholder base, MoneyTruVa is preparing to introduce its structured financial information platform to the market. The planned launch on October 22, 2026, will mark the next step in the company’s effort to make fragmented financial information easier to discover and understand.

As India’s investor participation continues to broaden, platforms that organise market information and provide context could play an increasingly important role in the financial information ecosystem. MoneyTruVa is positioning itself in this space, with a focus on helping investors access information in a more structured and decision-oriented format.
