IndusInd Bank has launched a dedicated Global Capability Centre (GCC) Banking vertical aimed at addressing the evolving banking needs of companies operating India-based global capability centres.
The new offering brings corporate and employee banking services together under a dedicated GCC-focused relationship model. The initiative is designed to give GCCs access to a broader set of banking solutions through a single relationship, while simplifying the management of their business and workforce-related financial requirements.
India has emerged as a major destination for Global Capability Centres, with companies increasingly using these centres for technology, operations, research, finance and other specialised functions. As the ecosystem expands, the banking needs of GCCs are also becoming more diverse, particularly around employee services, corporate banking, international transactions and regulatory requirements.
IndusInd Bank’s new vertical combines several of its banking capabilities into one offering. These include digital banking, employee banking, commercial card solutions, capital account and FEMA-related services, and foreign-currency accounts through its International Banking Unit at GIFT City.
The bank said the model is built around a more integrated approach, allowing GCCs to access these services through a dedicated banking relationship rather than managing multiple banking requirements separately.
The offering also places emphasis on digital platforms and specialised advisory support, with the bank aiming to provide GCCs with faster and more streamlined access to banking services.
With India’s GCC ecosystem continuing to expand, banks are increasingly looking to develop specialised solutions that cater to the distinct operational and financial requirements of these centres. IndusInd Bank’s dedicated vertical is positioned as part of this shift towards more sector-specific banking services.
