Mumbai — Imarticus School of Finance & Business (ISFB) has entered into a partnership with the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur) to strengthen its Bachelor’s Programme in Finance & Business. Under the collaboration, students joining the 2027 batch will be able to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree awarded by IIM Udaipur as part of their undergraduate journey at ISFB.
The partnership combines IIM Udaipur’s academic rigour with ISFB’s industry-oriented learning model. The programme will integrate finance, business and technology, preparing students for the changing demands of the BFSI and wider business ecosystem.
Students will study at ISFB’s Mumbai campus while receiving their BBA degree from IIM Udaipur. The institute will also host the students’ convocation, and after completing Year 3, graduates will receive an official IIM Udaipur alumni email ID and access to the BBA Alumni Career Connect Portal.
Focus on Applied, Flexible Learning
The programme is designed as an online and flexible offering, aimed at expanding access to management education beyond traditional classroom models. According to IIM Udaipur, the initiative seeks to bring IIM-level academic standards to a broader group of learners while retaining flexibility in delivery.
Joy Parekh, CEO of ISFB, said the partnership is intended to give ambitious learners access to strong academic thinking alongside real-world opportunities. “Together with IIM Udaipur, we are building a BBA experience that brings these two dimensions together from the very beginning of a student’s journey,” he said.
Prof. Kunal Kumar, Chairperson of the BBA Programme at IIM Udaipur, described the programme as an effort to make high-quality management education more inclusive. He said the institute’s vision is to enable learning to reach students who have traditionally remained outside formal education systems.
Preparing Students for BFSI Careers
The curriculum’s emphasis on finance, business and technology is expected to align with the skill requirements of banks, financial institutions, fintech companies, consulting firms and corporate businesses. ISFB said the programme will help students build a foundation for higher studies as well as careers across finance and business.
The collaboration also reflects a broader shift in India’s higher-education landscape, where industry-linked undergraduate programmes are increasingly being positioned as pathways into BFSI, analytics, technology and management roles.
